In defense of Laura

Bob Johnson makes clear he expects me to throw bombs. He is correct. I do. With joy. Especially at Sanders people. Expect more. Until we beat Sanders at the polls and end his campaign with a humiliating defeat that leaves all his supporters' hopes and dreams crushed and discarded.

Instead of directing his fire at me, Bob chooses to attack Laura Clawson, who is no such bomb thrower at all. As is typical of his type, he proceeds to lecture her on how she should do her writing:

What Laura omitted was an earlier paragraph which made clear that Sanders was referring specifically to the FBI investigation of the email server which was requested by Obama's Justice Department:
Bob Johnson says Sanders said he was "referring specifically to an FBI investigation.' But if you read the paragraph Bob Johnson refers to, Sanders is not quoted doing any such thing. In fact, the Wall Street Journal says that Sanders supports a 'federal investigation' left rather broadly to interpretation, not specific at all. This lends some support to Armando's idea that the WSJ sandbagged Sanders. I don't think so, but out of the tremendous respect I have for Armando I will allow that could very well be the case.

The question is, who is conducting a federal investigation of Hillary Clinton specifically? Laura Clawson pointed out, accurately, that the Wall Street Journal quoted Sanders as saying the "federal investigation" surrounding the Clinton email server  is "valid." She was overly generous, in my view, in noting that the media was spinning Sanders' quote. She went further noting her view that Sanders was referring to a nonpartisan investigation of the matter. In other words, she was favorable to Sanders.

Bob Johnson is wrong in attacking her.

I, however, could care less about being favorable to Sanders.

This is a presidential election and I am perfectly clear about what is going on here. The FBI is only investigating this ridiculous farce because of the Benghazi Committee's witch hunt. It is the fruit of the poisonous tree and Sanders is making fruit salad. Up to now, Sanders has made it clear this was not important or a big deal. That his campaign was going to be all about the issues. Wont go negative. Honest, perfect, noble, people power, change the world, blah blah blah high and mighty bullshit. As I said, I'm happy he's come back to Earth and wants a job, not a revolution.

I'm glad Bob Johnson is clear about me. But he's dead wrong about Laura.
